Community Rides

In Summer 2024 there will be many family friendly community bike rides in Petaluma! A joint collaboration of Bike Petaluma, Cool Petaluma, and Safe Streets Petaluma. Here's what's planned. Feel free to email info@safestreetspetaluma.org for any questions on the rides.

July 2024 Rides

Thursday July 4 — Stars and Stripes Dogs and Bikes

Celebrate Independence Day with a festive Bike Parade! Decorate your bike and join the parade leaving from Prince Park at 10:30 AM. Make sure to arrive by 10:15 AM, and don’t forget your helmet! The parade will head to Luchessi Park, where the city’s 4th of July festivities will continue from 11 am to 2 pm. For more information, visit the City’s webpage.

Friday July 5 — First Friday at Five

Kick off your weekend with a delightful ride on the first Friday of each month. Meet at Walnut Park at 5:00 PM or join at Luchessi Park's solar arrays at 5:15 PM. The rides conclude at The Block, where you can enjoy a dinner option. With routes changing monthly, be sure to check for the latest updates on this page.

Saturday July 13 — Second Saturday

Join Bike Petaluma for a refreshing ride every second Saturday, starting at 10:00 AM. On July 13 the route will meet at Lucchesi Park by the arch and be ~6 miles long. (Future routes are posted on Bike Petaluma’s website, so you can plan ahead and get ready for a fantastic ride.)
